On Friday the 7thof March the senior boy's cricket team played Forbes High In Wellington. The Forbes captain won the toss and elected to bat. The Forbes team batted for almost the entirety of their forty overs and scored 179. The best of the Wellington bowlers was Chris Crean with 2/22 off 6 overs and Jack Baker with 2/29 off 8 overs.
Then the Wellington boys batted, however, other than Bailey Preston who scored 27 and Graham Peckham who scored 21 none of the boys managed to really trouble the scorers and Wellington was bowled out for 75. The game saw a promising debut for Ethan Colliss into the senior team and on a more disappointing the game marked the end to the High School cricketing careers of two good sportsmen in Graham Peckham and the team's captain Nash Forgione.
